Jo’s Art History

Hello, I’m Jo!

Founder of Jo’s Art History.

A blog, Instagram and soon to be podcast which celebrates all things art historical every single day!

Jo's Art History

By day you will find me working for the sculpture gallery Pangolin London, where I deal and curate in all things modern and contemporary sculpture. By night you’ll find me reading, writing or talking about all things art history or exploring what the UK gallery and museum scene has to offer.

I started my blog back in April 2020 when, like 90% of the art sector in the UK, I was placed on furlough. Suddenly, I found myself with ALOT of time on my hands, but no art. So, I changed that!

I really love art history – but I often find the elitism which surrounds it so off putting to many. I want to change that by writing and speaking about art in an engaging and approachable way.

I have a lot of exciting plans that include a podcast which is all very much a work in-progress at the moment! So, stay tuned for what is to come! The trailer for my podcast can be found on most streaming services including Spotify!
